Oh me, oh my! One minute (more like one year) I’m sitting at home watching the entire run of bewitched for the third time and desperately seeking employment (and something to do) and the next minute I’m up to my perfectly manicured finger nails (held high above my head for someone to rescue me!) with two jobs, a business and a position on the condominium board. I should probably start with the new position. The IT job is going well. Just got back from New York. I will discuss that in another post. One thing I’ve noticed is that people treat you different when you get a promotion. One minute I’m in the common area in my little cubicle and the next I’m in an office with a door. I never thought a door could make such a difference but let me tell you it does! I’ve been getting little comments left and right. They are all thinly veiled in humor but these folks are serious! I think their jealousy is derived from the fact that they all had offices with doors and now they are forced to reside in cubicles with their backside exposed to the world. GET OVER IT I say!

Next there is the new part time job working at my favorite bar Streetside. I started going there months ago and begged for a job the entire time until I was finally offered the prestigious position of barback. One night a week and it’s all cash! House music abounds in this quaint neighborhood watering hole. I’m still doing the treasury thing with the condo and all of its headaches. Unfortunately FASiT has been floundering. I just don’t have the time! But all in all things are going well. So much has happened over the past month and a half but I don’t know when I will find the time to make the entries. But don’t give up on me yet! There is more to come.
